Intermediate Classical Female Singing Technique
Praised for her "unusually extensive range," “gorgeous lyric soprano,” “spinning top register,” and “fluid musicality,” Nicole Guberman most recently performed with Operamission as Cleopatra from Giulio Cesare and in a co-collaboration with MidAtlantic Opera/Narnia Festival as Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly. Her operatic roles include Venus in Venus and Adonis, Night in The Fairy Queen, Hebé in Les Indes Galantes, and Zelmire in Der Betrogene Kadi. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance, magna cum laude from the Ithaca College School of Music, and an Artist Diploma in Early Music from Cornish College. A New York City native, Nicole studies with international dramatic soprano Andrea DelGiudice.
Her students have been nominated for New Jersey Paper Mill Playhouse's Rising Star Awards, have been awarded scholarships for college study, have earned multiple leading roles, and have released their own pop/rock albums. Through a detailed, holistic approach across all musical styles, Nicole’s teaching integrates physical technique based in the Bel Canto vocal tradition with the cultivation of each student’s individual artistry.
