WVS students are not merely selected on their level of talent or potential vocal skill, but on their drive and passion for the art.

While we could say our alumni include professional recording artists, opera singers and marquis Broadway celebrities, that isn't what is important to us.  While we revel in the success of our students as professionals, it is their success as individuals that makes us proud.  While we insist on training superior voice technique, we pride ourselves more on training students who best reflect the joy and compassion of this industry.

This is apparent in the interaction of our students and alumni.  The pessimism and cattiness often found among competative student bodies simply doesn't exist in these students.  We encourage a community of artists with an abundance mentality--who strive to focus on the success of their peers as much as their own.
