Online Voice Lessons
Private voice lessons are now available online through the Skype and Oovoo technologies. Lessons can be purchased in 30, 45 and 60-minute durations and focus on any aspect of a student's technique, artistry or interpretation.
An excellent resource for students on the road, in professional tours or who simply cannot come to New York, online lessons are a through and intense method of study that offers many of the same advantages of the in-person experience.
Private online lessons may also be recorded and saved for the student's use at a later date. They offer an excellent reference and method of measuring progress over time.
All online lessons are broadcast from Wickham Vocal Studios New York utilizing only state-of-the-art equipment and the best webcam technology available. All students are viewed through a 52" flat screen television for maximum clarity.
WVS recommends students wishing to participate in online lessons first purchase a Logitech combination headset/microphone designed specifically for the voice. To learn more about this product, please click HERE or for another option, please click HERE.
To setup a private online lesson, please review and following ALL of the steps below:
1.) Ensure your computer has a working microphone and speaker system. Higher quality will ensure a better lesson!
2.) Download either Oovoo or Skype and install on your computer.
3.) Test the installed program to ensure both your microphone and speakers are working properly. Refunds will NOT be given for lesson time lost due to technical difficulties!
4.) Call 646-473-0900 between 10a-7p Mon-Thurs to setup an online lesson or EMAIL admin@vocalstudios.com with a detailed schedule of your availability. The adminstrator will work directly with you to find an appropriate time.
5.) Purchase lessons via credit card by calling 646-473-0900 between 10a and 7p (Eastern Time) Monday through Thursday <OR> use your paypal account and click on a payment option below:
