The William Haralson Scholarship Competition

Each year, Performers Career Center honors its first benefactor by holding a scholarship competition for talented aspiring professional singers in the New York City area.  The competition was established in 2003 and is now open to all singers who meet the program requirements (including non-PCC students).  An excellent resource for emerging performers, the William Haralson Scholarship Competition offers an opportunity to provide career forwarding opportunites such as:

  • Financial Awards in excess of $15,000 per year
  • A PCC-sponsored concert for the winners
  • Score sheets for all participants, outlining technical and acting strengths and weaknesses
  • Private meetings with agents and career-coaches
  • Admittance to high-level vocal performance classes and career development workshops
  • Casting for future projects through the competition
  • And many more...
