PCC Fall 2010 Detoxification Program
This fall, PCC is providing information for a 30-day detoxification program for all students and affiliates interested in "shaping up and cleaning out" before the holidays this year. This effective and highly-tested program was created by Designs For Health®, and has been repeatedly tested to be much more effective and far safer than other "fast-type" cleanses. Participation is simple. Please read below for detailed instructions.
While there are no set start and end dates for the program, PCC will be monitoring progress beginning September 15th and ending October 15th, 2010. However, you may begin the detox whenever you want.

(See instructions below)
3. EXERCISE
How to participate:

This is a serious detox. Major social events, vacations and travel, and scheduled alterations to your routine will interfere. You should plan on a generally solid routine throughout the 30 days with no major distractions.
STEP TWO: OPT IN
Email HERE with your confirmation that you are going to be actively participating in the Fall Detox Program. Do NOT sign up if you do not plan to abide by all of the program rules below. INSTRUCTIONS
After you phase out the foods not allowed on the fast, you will begin drinking the shakes as meal supplements (in addition to the legal foods) and slowly add in the PaleoCleanse powder throughout the duration of the detox:
What to expect:
The first week - You will eliminate ONE item from the list above each day over a period of seven (7) days. Once you eliminate it, it's gone! The detox doesn't begin until everything on the list is out of your diet. As you eliminate caffeine, sugars and gluten from you diet expect mild headaches and fluctuating energy. Your appetite will initially increase and probably annoy you. This will pass, and is mostly psychological if you are taking your supplements. Be sure and substitute an accepted drink or snack during any daily routines (like morning coffee or cocktail hour). Do NOT punish yourself by destroying your normally-scheduled indulgences! This is a detox, not a punishment! Instead of chips, eat nuts! Instead of morning coffee, drink tea (or decaf if you have to, but no milk!)
The second and third weeks - you won't be as hungry, but keep away from all visual reminders of your favorite foods and alcohol! The new routine doesn't take long to kick in.
The fourth week - crunch time! You may find this week the easiest. You might even regret ending the detox as your energy is better and the visual signs of the detox are really beginning to show (weight loss, skin clearing up, more youthful appearance).
Once you are done - slowly begin adding foods into your diet.
What do you get out of this???
Here's the fun part! The following results are not guaranteed, but have been observed by most participants:
